On Thursday, July 29th, SomnoMed and the Sleep Research Society Foundation (SRSF) put focus on non-CPAP alternatives in light of the Philips recall. The online focus group discussion was comprised of a panel of more than a dozen of the world’s top academic and clinical sleep medicine experts. They convened to discuss barriers and facilitators for adoption of non-PAP treatment approaches to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), including Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT).
This webinar builds on SomnoMed’s commitment, through their “Medical Initiative,” to ensure oral appliance therapy is considered and made easily accessible as a clinically effective alternative to PAP therapy for every mild and moderate OSA patient.
